AltMenus is a passion project built to provide an easy and affordable self-order system for small businesses. It’s fully customizable and includes features like queue management, kitchen display, receipt printing, and POS—without ads, sign-ups, hosting, or data collection. Designed for Android, it runs on most tablets and mobile devices. Unlike traditional systems that depend on centralized servers, AltMenus connects directly to your own Google Sheets, which acts as both the server and database. Your data stays private and secure in the cloud. You can customize everything to match your brand.

Steps to setup AltMenus

1️⃣ Installation. Simply copy the template, deploy the built-in script, and install the app.

2️⃣ Item Entry. Input your product details from the app or directly into the sheet.

3️⃣ Design Menu. Build your menu using text, or images to suit your branding style.

4️⃣ Customize. Adjust over 500 available settings to fine-tune how your system works.

5️⃣ Go Live. Launch the app from tablets or mobile phones for customers and admin.

6️⃣ Maintain. Keep your system up to date by modifying menu items, schedules, or promos.
